The YOUTH TOUR was a blast!
This past June 15-21, more than 1,500 high school students nationwide participated in the annual Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. The Youth Tour consisted of a fast-paced, intense week of learning about history and government, visiting with the congressional delegation, and becoming more knowledgeable about the cooperative business model. This unique trip gave youth the opportunity to watch history come alive as they explored museums, memorials and monuments with students from our own state, and made friendships that will last a lifetime.
