Thomas Vaughn - Cavalier
Thomas (Tom) Vaughn is a Cavalier, N.D., native and fourth-generation farmer and rancher in Pembina County. With sons David and Craig, Vaughn Farms runs a diversified crop and purebred Limousin beef seedstock operation. Tom has served on a variety of boards: Cavalier Presbyterian Church, Pembina County Livestock Association, Heartland Limousin Cattle Association, North Dakota Limousin Cattle Association, North American Limousin Cattle Association and the Cavalier Public School board. Currently, Tom is vice president of the Pembina County Memorial Hospital board in Cavalier. Tom and his wife, Rita, have three sons and seven grandchildren. Spending time with grandkids and traveling are highlights for Tom and Rita. Tom has chosen to run for the Nodak Electric board to support the work and stability of the cooperative.
